I am without a doubt, a “Gem Geek.” As a result, I am very picky about the quality of the stones I buy, whether opaque or faceted. This is the first Lapis ring I have purchased even though I have searched for years. In my opinion, the highest quality lapis is found in Afghanistan. Due to the rugged terrain & the political unrest in this country, very little AAA lapis is available. What is available is very expensive! This ring is a vibrant cobalt blue color; the tear drop cut of the stone enhances the beauty of the ring. Very happy with this purchase!💥💥💥
